Okay , so first of all. You clearly can not spell correctly because you spell wasn’t like that not wasent . Second of all , I’m pretty sure that you will be rocking that nice championship coat down in the states this next year while you won’t be here to deal with the drama that you are stirring up!
Third of all , who are you to complain about something that doesn’t even concern you or your well being… I believe that our club did very well this recent season and if you have personal problems with the way that the club was ran this year I think you should have brought those issues to someone’s attention prior to a couple days before the banquet. I hope that you remember while your serving our country and proudly talking about races and how you won your championship , that you said you are ashamed to be a part of Anchorage Racing Lions Club! Your HOME state!! Represent and be proud we are capable of having this sport event here in the 907!!!!

Huh..... I just read in the October DIRT BIKE magazine on page 22 under riders write:
QUOTE:
We Did Tell You
Dirt Bikes,
I just bought a new 250F. I was wondering why you didn't tell me that the 250 2 strokes can compete in the same class.
www.dirtbikemagazine.com
Check this out and let us know what they say.
I find it very funny that you said clayton for president when his son was 2nd place in the 125X class for the season in the city series on a 250 2 stroke. This seems to be the topic of your conversation that you sound so upset over. So are you for him or was that a jab at him?

Im not trying to hide it, you know who i am. I think it is hilarious that us 125x riders had nothing to do with post. A womens novice rider noticed the unfair motor displacement, and our local board members cant? Im not going to say we need a new board. I do like all the people we have involved. Maybe the person that makes the displacement rules should open there eyes. 32.6 and 42.8. Need I list the tourqe? come on.

we all know that the board doesnt work like it is claimed. Its all in who you know. Dont sugar coat it. If your last name is a certain one you do whatever the hell you want.

I agree with Michael for sure maybe the whole club should vote on this rule instead of just certain people that's my suggestion to better the club.

Kawasaki164 wrote:That's just a magazine? I don't know what that is suppose to mean maybe u can explain it? And I'm for Clayton for president because I think he would know FAIR racing which the arl is suppose to permote.
This is an excerpt from the magazine regarding 2 and 4 strokes advantages/disadvantages:
Q: WHICH ONE IS FASTER?
A: Going fast may not always be about sheer horsepower, but in perfect conditions horsepower will win out. In a straight line, the YZ250 two-stroke gets from one end of the line to the other end quicker. Much quicker.
But, all is not lost for the YZ250F. Motocross is not drag racing. It doesn’t take place on asphalt. There is no rubber-soaked launch pad at the start of every straight. There are certain conditions when the slower, but higher revving, YZ250F can actually go faster over a given distance than its two-stroke competitor.
Q: WHICH BIKE PRODUCES THE BEST LAP TIMES?
A: Although MXA had a wide range of test riders spend time on both bikes, we left all lap time testing to a single test rider. We picked a 20-something Intermediate test rider because he was old enough to have raced a 250cc two-stroke and yet not immune to the charms of a four-stroke.
When we examined his lap times, taken from actual races not hot laps, we weren’t surprised to discover that his laps times on both the two-stroke and four-stroke were almost identical. Read that again. His lap times were identical regardless of which bike he was on. Depending on the track layout (hills, sand, whoops, jumps and hard pack) there were some deviations--but not enough to write home about.
On tracks where horsepower paid big dividends, the fastest single lap time came on the YZ250 two-stroke. But, on long tracks with harder dirt, the slowest lap time were also produced by the YZ250 two-stroke. Why? In the test rider’s opinion, the YZ250 two-stroke was more of a crap shoot to ride in that sometimes it was so brilliant out of berms and across rough ground that it seemed effortless—yet, the YZ250 two-stroke was also a lot easier to make mistakes on and those mistakes produced erratic lap times.
The YZ250F four-stroke never set the fastest time, but then it never set the slowest time either.
Across the board, if an MXA test rider could turn in a 2:35 on the YZ250, he could back it up with a 2:35 on the YZ250F in the next moto
At the end of the day--If you don't like the bike you're on, get a different one!
I think the ARL has done an outstanding job of creating a variety of competitive classes and a place for us to race.

On a lighter note maybe
Just a thought everyone, instead of arguing back and forth and making statements that cannot and will not be confirmed let's try to come up with a compromise for everyone. How about a two stroke class 125 2stroke and a 250 2stroke class that could run on a staggered gate for a points championship but no cash, only motobucks. This would only add 15 to 20 minutes to the day and give new riders with 2strokes a class, younger riders just getting onto big bikes a class to work with and with it not being a cash class it would not affect the sign up in the 125/250/pro classes since most of them will want to race for the cash, yet open the door for riders to come into motocross on older cheaper and easier to maintane equipment.Which would hopefully bring new riders to Kincaid since all of us have seen our rider sign up numbers decline and at some point we need to look at why this is the case and instead of arguing about it come up with a solution for it or racing in the 907 may not be for long.Being a part of a dealership and team that does not have a 2 stroke to offer still see a place for the 2stroke and would like to see a level playing field for all riders 2 or 4 strokes and I think the racing would be better if the riders in the expert and pro levels were on close to equal rides and let the riders be the deciding factor of the race.

Did no one read Mr. Lynn's comment. It has been proven that there is no difference between the 250F and the 250 2 stroke on the race track, besides the fact that the 250 2 stroke is harder to ride. You are right Jayson there does need to be a solution to this on going argument about the 250 2 stroke, 250F class.

Thank you Jason that was a good idea and very well put. If your not going to make an even playing field for 125 ex let's start a 250f pro class or somthing and make it so the club can get more money in to help out? There is no reason not to make a 250f class.

The 250f motor isnt any bigger than the 250 two stroke they are the same cc. The 4 stroke just fires half as many times as the two stroke, so its not my problem that your 250f only fires half the time as my 250 two stroke. maybe you should get a two stroke

Re: :) 125 expert class inputs!! Really good one by 396 check it out
Casey you are far off point of the topic and I don't appreciate you putting words in my mouth I do agree you all should be on similar speed bikes regardless of the handling. I would like to see you and all the boys have a fair race on 125 two strokes and 250 fourstrokes. I'm sorry the club let 250 two strokes race in a 125cc class it would have been a good race if they had not done that.
Maybe we should just rename it to "expert class" since 125 no longer has meaning or "250 combo class" but we mine as well have two "250 expert classes" Lol

Can't we all just get along
Just something to think about. Our awards banquet is in just a few days and for many of Alaskan riders both young and old it will or should be a fun and exciting night to celebrate a full season of hard work and sacrifice. There is a time and place for determining what is right for the club and rule changes for the following year and that is at the board meetings during the off season. Every member and non member is able and invited to attend these meetings and give their input. Can 't we put these issues asside and let these riders and families that have worked hard all year for the chance at a plaque or championship jacket and they should have a night to enjoy it with friends and fellow racers without the tension of issues that will certainly be worked on in the off season. Come enjoy the night relive a few races place your votes for next years board and be at the meetings to give your input and ideas but maybe let it go for now and enjoy the banquet.
